RHC Lifting's bespoke roll and reel handling devices offer a safe solution for lifting, moving and turning rolls and other materials up to a weight of 2000 kg. The lightweight manual or battery-powered floor moving lifters are portable ergonomic devices that can be designed to lift, elevate, lower, move, position, rotate, manipulate or hold rolls and other heavy objects easily across the factory floor.
The hoist-based rolls and reel lifters are connected to a hoist or overhead gantry crane and can be used to turn rolls and materials between horizontal and vertical with either manual or electric assist options.
Each lifter is designed and manufactured to meet your exact requirements to ensure the most efficient, safest, user-friendly and practical solution. All lifters are available with a wide variety of custom-designed attachments and include, but are not limited to fork sets, platforms, roller decks, powered tongs, clamps, expanding mandrels and articulating arms, all available with either manual or electronic control options. Handling reel, roll and spinal are generally achieved via two techniques either external or internal lifting. Each method of lifting has its own advantage and the most appropriate can be selected for your application.
